Tabby’s Place Forever Home Friday: Clyde
On Fridays we’ll feature a former Tabby’s Place resident who recently has been adopted.
Take a Good Look: Work Stoppage
Over the weekend, Pat and I were installing a rubber border around the maple tree in our back yard. I had already brought over one bag of mulch, but when I returned with the second bag, Pat had stopped working. She pointed out to me the reason for the stoppage…

…the tiny toad crawled over the edge of the border…

…then up the incline covered with landscaping fabric and mulch from last year…

…stopped next to some maple seeds for a portrait, then continued…

…until it reached a bag of mulch. The toad sat there for some time, and rather than disturb it, Pat and I took a break from the yard work.

Midnight Monday at Tabby’s Place: Sylvia
Each month, Tabby’s Place emails updates to the people whose donations help support cats with Special Needs, cats with conditions such as spina bifida, cerebellar hypoplasia, and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
As Sylvia’s correspondent, it’s a good feeling to know how many humans have chosen this timid — but no longer terrified — little black cat with severe heart disease. Her latest update will go out to her sponsors tomorrow, and it tells about yet another way she has figured out to get what she wants from me.
If you would like to help support Sylvia, please follow the link below her photo.
